HERMITAGE’S DAILY PROGRAM

The daily program includes zazen (sitting meditation), chanting, mealtimes and free time. In connection with zazen, there is access to dokusan, i.e. personal guidance with the teacher. In your free time, it is possible to practice meditation in motion, e.g. walking, swimming or kayaking. The Hermitage’s weekly rest days are from Monday lunchtime to Wednesday morning; during this time there is no organized program.

Price €20/day. Members €15/day.

Membership fee is €100/year. Membership entitles you to a 20% discount on event prices (not Feldenkrais course). If you are student or otherwise have low income we can always negotiate discounts and/or replacing the payment with voluntary work.

APR 15th-20th SESSHIN

MAY 17th SPRING WORKING DAY

10 AM-5 PM. Gardening, window washing, and other spring work in good company. The house provides food and the sauna heats up in the evening. Let us know you are coming by email: contact@ikian.fi.
